In preparation for awards season, the Hollywood Theatre continues its curated Awards Season Screenings, spotlighting films nominated for both Golden Globes and Academy Awards.
January 9th, we are featuring One Battle After Another. Paul Thomas Anderson’s riveting and provocative adaptation of Thomas Pynchon’s Vineland, featuring a powerhouse performance by Leonardo DiCaprio. Heralded as one of the year’s most compelling films, One Battle After Another has been a major awards favourite, leading the Golden Globe nominations with nine nods including Best Picture, Director, Screenplay, and multiple acting categories.
A bold blend of action, satire, and social commentary, the film follows a former revolutionary navigating a chaotic, fractured America while protecting his family — once again proving Anderson’s mastery of storytelling and cinematic craft.

- Smoking is not permitted inside or outside in front of the theatre
- There are no in's and out's for the duration of each event
- Hollywood Theatre is now an entirely cashless venue, and only major credit cards, debit cards, and mobile forms of payment will be accepted at all events. Select points of sale at artist merchandise may still accept cash.
