Join us for an electrifying night of emerging indie sounds at Indie Club, the Hollywood Theatre’s showcase of rising artists shaping the local alternative scene. This edition features three of Vancouver’s most exciting acts — Emma Alves, runner, and Semi — bringing a mix of heartfelt songwriting, lush melodies, and driving live energy to the stage.
Emma Alves blends shimmering dream pop textures with soulful vocals, crafting songs that are both intimate and cinematic. Runner delivers jangly guitars and anthemic hooks reminiscent of early-2000s indie rock revival, while Semi fuses post-punk grit with modern sensibilities and danceable grooves.

- Hollywood Theatre is a 19+ venue
- Two pieces of physical ID are required for entry
- All events are 19+/No minors unless otherwise noted
- Smoking is not permitted inside or outside in front of the theatre
- There are no in's and out's for the duration of each event
- Hollywood Theatre is now an entirely cashless venue, and only major credit cards, debit cards, and mobile forms of payment will be accepted at all events. Select points of sale at artist merchandise may still accept cash.
