Friendship - A Darkly Hilarious Cringe Comedy Masterpiece

Grab your best (or worst) friend and settle in for a night of shared secondhand embarrassment and great cinema. Join us June 11th at The Hollywood Theatre for a one-night-only screening of Friendship, the wildly uncomfortable and hilarious A24 debut from director Andrew DeYoung. Starring Tim Robinson (I Think You Should Leave) and Paul Rudd, the film dives headfirst into the chaos of adult male bonding—with cringe, charm, and dark absurdity.

Described by This Is For Reel as “ninety minutes with no escape,” Friendship capitalizes on Robinson’s signature brand of social discomfort and dark humor, delivering a story that’s as hard to look away from as it is to endure—with laughter, of course. Read the full TIFF 2024 review here.
