Delhi 2 Dublin

Live Nation Presents:
Delhi 2 Dublin
For two decades, Delhi 2 Dublin has been at the forefront of South Asian fusion music, architecting a global bass sound they call “Subcontinental Pop” – a high-energy blend of Bhangra, electronic, hip-hop, reggae, and Celtic influences that defies genres.
In 2026, Delhi 2 Dublin marked their 20th anniversary by doing what they’ve always done best – making new music and hitting the road. Their anniversary tour has taken them across Canada, bringing together longtime fans and a new generation discovering the band for the first time. The year has also ushered in a new wave of music, with the release of “Smooth Operator” in May, followed by “Dil Nachde XX” in July – a 20th-anniversary reimagining of the band’s very first single, “Dil Nachde.”
This fall, Delhi 2 Dublin will close out an incredible anniversary year with a final run of dates, culminating in a special hometown concert at Vancouver’s Hollywood Theatre on November 7.
It’s a fitting finale for a story that began in Vancouver 20 years ago. What started as a one-night collaboration at Vancouver’s Celtic Fest in 2006 quickly evolved into a global phenomenon, propelling the band from underground bass parties and festival circuits to world-renowned stages including Glastonbury, Burning Man and the clubs of Mumbai, earning them a reputation for delivering “90 minutes of freebasing joy” at every show.
Twenty years in, Delhi 2 Dublin is anything but a nostalgia act. The band has entered a new creative era, re-energized and reinspired, with producer, keyboardist and tabla player Kal Mattu bringing renewed vibrancy to their ever-evolving sound. Combined with their signature fusion of hypnotic dhol, deep bass and euphoric hooks, this latest evolution is carrying Delhi 2 Dublin firmly into its next chapter.
