School of Rock Vancouver Presents: THE 80s VS THE 90s!
It’s time for a showdown of epic proportions: The 80s vs The 90s! Join us for a rock-fueled battle between two of the most iconic musical decades, as School of Rock Vancouver presents an unforgettable two days of music featuring students from 7-18 years old from the Rock101 & Performance Programs, alongside Adult Program Students. Plus, enjoy special appearances from our youngest rockers in the Little Wing and Rookies programs (ages 3-6), kicking things off with their cutest and most energetic performances.
On one side, we’ve got the pop and new wave hits of the 80s—think Cyndi Lauper, Prince, Duran Duran, and Madonna. On the other, we have the raw, alternative energy of 90s rock and grunge with bands like Pearl Jam, Oasis, Nirvana, and the Foo Fighters. It’s a musical clash where you get to decide: will the 80s pop vibes reign supreme, or will the 90s grunge era take over the stage?
Don’t miss out on this epic showdown of sound and style—it's an explosive night of music you won't want to miss!
The day will include six shows over two days from our different student groups. Attend one show, or all of them! Please note that separate tickets are required for each show.

SHOW 5 | Sunday, June 8 | 2:30pm - 4:30pm
SHOW 6 | Sunday, June 8 | 6pm - 8pm
- Hollywood Theatre is a 19+ venue
- Two pieces of physical ID are required for entry
- All events are 19+/No minors unless otherwise noted
- Smoking is not permitted inside or outside in front of the theatre
- There are no in's and out's for the duration of each event
- Hollywood Theatre is now an entirely cashless venue, and only major credit cards, debit cards, and mobile forms of payment will be accepted at all events. Select points of sale at artist merchandise may still accept cash.
